Movensys was founded in 1996, as a project of Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). From the beginning, Movensys has been striving to become a future-oriented leader in the 4th Industrial Revolution.
In 2021, Movensys has changed its company name with the spirit of becoming a technology-intensive global leading company in the robot, motion control, and high tech measurement industries.
Under the company slogan of "contributing to the social change through continuous technological innovation,"
all our employees are making effort to provide customized automation solution as well as system consulting service throughout the various industrial sectors such as semi-conductor, display, and information communication equipment.
History
Starting with the MIT Robot Control Project in 1996 to Develop the
World's First Software-based Motion Control Platform.
Movensys was founded with the aim of constant challenges that began with the 'Next Generation Robot Controller' development project at MIT in 1996. In addition, Movensys developed the World’s First Software-based Motion Controller Platform 'WMX' that integrates Soft Motion technology and EtherCAT communication, as well as Soft Master based on CC-Link IE TSN and MECHATROLINK-4 communication.

Signature
The corporate name Movensys derived from Latin words 'primum movens' of which meaning is the first mover without being moved itself and the Greek word σῠν(sun-) that means 'stand with, together'. The signature is designed to express lucid and future-oriented concept.
Our company vision "contributing to the change of society by continuous technical innovation” is emphasized by the Möbius strip implying infinite values.
*Arbitary modification of the signature may deface the company image. Use of Movensys signature must adhere to the exact specifications of shape size and full color and should not be used inaccurately.

Wordmark is one the fundamental elements of Movensys Corporate Identity, and it is the representative symbol of essential communication expressing the image of Movensys.
